From furniture and clothing to cars and everyday products, through our platforms, items can find a second, third or even fourth life. That’s how our users contribute to a world in which people share more and waste less, and how every deal made on our platforms makes a big difference.

The Adevinta Benelux teams participated in the Do Good Day: a series of volunteering activities around Amsterdam. 125 Adevintans provided support to six different community centres and participated in various activities such as painting, repairs and social visits! The day was made possible with support from Stichting NL Cares, a Dutch non-profit organisation based in Amsterdam.
We gathered to celebrate King's Night, the festive evening before King's Day, a national holiday celebrating the King’s birthday. It was a night filled with fun and laughter as our Benelux teams came together to enjoy live music, DJs, and traditional games as well as a lot of people dressed in orange, the official colour of the Netherlands.
We held our first Meetup in Amsterdam in cooperation with the organisation ProductTank. It was a session with more than 70 people who explored the concept of Break into Product with the help of 3 speakers.
Our presence at leading tech events is an example of our commitment to growing both Adevinta’s and our local brands’ awareness across Europe. As part of this effort, we sponsored 3 major tech conferences in Amsterdam: KubeCon/CloudNativeCon, The Next Web Conference and GOTO Amsterdam.
This year we combined the Adevinta Benelux launch with our belated Christmas party at the Arcade All Stars Party. Our employees entered a world of neon lights and jostling joysticks with the sound of dropping coins and synthesizers filling their ears.
To celebrate reopening our office when Covid restrictions lifted, we welcomed our teams back with with freshly made smoothies and snacks.
At our regular All Hands meetings, our teams gather to learn about our latest projects, exchange ideas, and ask questions.
On International Women’s Day, Benelux CEO Annemarie Buitelaar and Orla Noonan, chair of the Adevinta Board, hosted a panel discussion on female leadership and shared their personal stories.
We challenged our teams to come up with solutions that empower our users and platforms to keep doing good. At out 2021 Hackathon we have an impressive 11 submissions with presentations ranging from working code, well thought-through concepts to mocked-up prototypes.
